Drill to a depth of 1/4" deeper than the anchor. Example: 1/4" x 1-1/2" anchor needs a 1/4" dia pilot hole 1-3/4" deep.Insert the hammer drive nail anchor through the object you need to affix and insert both together into the hole. Note: Size the anchor appropriately by ensuring a minimum of 3/4" embedment of the anchor into the base material.Tap, using a hammer, until firmly set.
